After much work and considerable investment, the OPTIM – VET veterinary clinic enthusiastically announces the installation of the first veterinary tomography device in the Republic of Moldova. The announcement was made public by Dr. Veterinarian Vladislav Pușnei in a post on social networks, where he highlighted the importance of this moment for veterinary medicine in the country.
„After so much work and expense, we finally managed to install the first veterinary tomography device in the Republic of Moldova! There are only a few days left until we can receive the first patient!”, wrote Vladislav Pușnei.
What does this step mean for veterinary medicine?
Computed tomography (CT) is one of the most modern diagnostic imaging methods. It allows obtaining detailed images of the internal organs, bones, soft tissues and blood vessels of animals. Until now, such investigations could not be performed in the country at the veterinary level.
Installing this high-performance equipment means:
- faster and more accurate diagnosis for pets;
- more effective treatments thanks to detailed assessments;
- eliminating the need to send patients abroad for such tests.
The first CT examinations will be able to be performed in a few days, after the final testing and adjustments of the device are completed. OPTIM – VET thus becomes the first veterinary center in the Republic of Moldova to offer this type of service.
